Swami Vivekananda’s concept of Education is as broad-based as his life itself. It is not utilitarian being not confined only to bread wining.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya was started with the idea of evolving a type of education by which the students will be strong in truth and self-dependent young men, always ready to serve the country and society. The system of education in Vidyalaya High School – Gurukulam tackles the hurdles in the development of students, helps to develop concentration of mind and instill patriotism, and at last embeds a seed for spiritual awakening.
Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are ever with us in spirit. Let us hope that by their grace, we shall be in a position to serve the humanity by strengthening the supremacy of spiritual view of life.
